Northwood House is one of the Ferry's grand houses, restored and put back to work. Private offices sit in the original rooms with their proportions and detail intact, the Morning Room offers dedicated desks overlooking the gardens, and three meeting rooms, from a six-person suite to a 35-person events space, are bookable by the hour. It's the only workspace of its kind in the town, and it's built for the people who already live here: a professional base a few minutes from your front door, with free parking the city centre can't offer.
About the area

Broughty Ferry has always been where Dundee's business owners chose to live. In the Victorian era the city's jute merchants built their mansions on the hill above the Tay, and the town was once called the richest square mile in Europe. Today it has its own high street on Brook Street, an award-winning beach, a castle, good schools and a strong sense of community, four miles from the city centre but very much its own town. For a business, that means a shorter commute for anyone living in the east of the city, cafés and restaurants for client lunches, and an address with character.

The house is on Strathern Road, on the western edge of the Ferry. Broughty Ferry station is a short walk away, with regular services into Dundee in under ten minutes and along the coast to Monifieth, Carnoustie and Arbroath. Buses run every ten to fifteen minutes at peak, with Route 5 into Dundee and Ninewells and the 73/78 up the coast into Angus. By car, the A92 runs through the town and the A90 is ten minutes away. For anyone living in the Ferry, Monifieth or eastern Dundee, it's a commute you can walk or cycle, and there's limited free parking on site with on-street parking nearby.
